What is your SLA?
We strive to have the most reliable service in the VPS industry. However, should downtime occur, our SLA is this:

* If the outage is less than 1 hour, no service credit is given;
* If the outage is over 1 hour, a day's service credit is given;
* If the outage is over 1 day, the service credit doubles per day of downtime.

So in a nutshell, if you are down for 2 days, you will have 4 days of service credit. We feel that this is the best SLA policy in the industry.

Will you offer me a trial?
Sure. We give 5 days trial service to every prospective client.

What distributions do you offer?
Anything that runs on Xen 3.2.

Is _______________ allowed?
Most likely yes. A few things are not allowed. In short: as long as it's legal*, it's probably allowed.
(*United States of America and Malaysia law).
Update: Jaring does not allow any torrent related service on their data center.

How do I pay?
We use Malaysian NBepay payment gateway. Our payment gateway can support VISA, MasterCard, Malaysian FPX, Maybank2U, MobileMoney, PosPay, MEPS Cash, and Chinese Yuan payment.

What hardware does GLiCX use?
We use high quality Supermicro servers. Details can be found on our Server Specifications page.

Can I upgrade my service later?
Yes. Just open a help desk ticket or e-mail support'at'glicx'dot'net

Do you provide backups?
Backups are your responsibility, unless you have a backup management subscription.

Can I get a different OS installed?
Yes, just contact support'at'glicx'dot'net. If the OS requires manual work though, it may take a few days before your request can be handled.

Do your VPS has control panel to start-up, shutdown, and restart my VPS?
Yes, we have.

How do I cancel my account?
Canceling your account is quite simple. Since you pay in advance for service, just don't pay for the next month of service, and your account will be closed.

Can I get additional IPs?
Yes. All VPSes have a static IP. If you need additional IPs, open a support ticket and explain why it is needed. Additional IP is RM100/year (per IP).

Can I run an IRC server on my VPS?
Yes.

What can I do with a virtual server?
Anything you can do with a dedicated server. You can do EVERYTHING!
For example: hosting server, e-mail server, database server, game server, etc.
